Alexandre Favre was born in Franche-Comté, in the East of France. He is a Pastry Chef at Christophe Michalak in Paris.
Passionate by the art of pastry cooking and its creation aspect since he was 9 years old, he started as an intern with “les Compagnons du devoir” when he was 16. At that time, he could not stop training using books from the best pastry chefs like Christophe Michalak, who influenced a lot his development.
After graduating from a CAP pâtissier, he pursued his studies with a specialization in chocolate art and discovered a real passion for chocolate and its technology. He completed his career with a BTM pâtissier confiseur to perfect his knowledge in this complex and fascinating field. The continuous evolution of the pastry chef work has forced him to always challenge the status quo.
In 2015, he joined Christophe Michalak at Plaza Athénée in Paris where he developed his skills working with grand chefs Jean-Marie Hiblot and Julien Rive Torrens. He keeps working with the chef Christophe Michalak by joining his team in the pastry shops he owns. He has been promoted manager of the Masterclass and then operations manager for 4 boutiques.
His inspiration comes from multiple sources, including art, sculpture, music and the world.
