Maxence Barbot

Since November, Maxence Barbot is the discreet, top-notch, highly-experienced Head Pastry Chef at the Shangri La, where he creates their fabulous dessert offerings. After training at Plaza Athenée alongside Christophe Michalak, he joined the Four Seasons George V, was named French Vice Champion for plated desserts in 2013 and subsequently returned to the Plaza in 2016 as sous-chef to Angelo Musa. He is without a doubt a name to watch out for in the world of haute pâtisserie.
